No problem at all. I very rarely advise someone to cut out carbs completely as they are essential for energy production especially when doing excercise of this nature. However, what you can do is reduce your carb intake on days where you are not very physically active or working out. So, you reduce your intake of foods like bread rice potatoes and pasta. Foucus on green leafy vegetables to ensure you consume enough essential fibre.
Across the board I advise you to avoid white foods including white bread, rice and pasta and all foods that contain added sugars like biscuits sweets and chocolate. Obviously the occasional treat is fine and this is where the 80%/20% guideline comes in. Avoid these types of foods for 80% of the time.
